Our biggest nightmare is unwanted hair on the face. It may appear on the cheeks, forehead, upper lip or chin. If you have unwanted hair on your face, you probably have always dreamed of getting rid of it.

More and more people are looking for a permanent hair removal method, one that will eliminate facial hair once and for all. And there are so many different ways to get rid of facial hair, like threading, tweezing, waxing and plucking. But these methods are painful and can cause irritation, skin redness, incubated hair and skin darkening. Home remedies are the safest and most cost – effective way to remove facial hair.

Using Razors To Remove Hair

Razors are really handy, no doubt about that. They are not too expensive, easy to use, and ideal for emergency hair removal in the last minute. However, there are downsides to razors that you’ll be all too familiar with if you’ve used them recently. Ingrown hair, razor rash and increasingly spiky hair will leave you frustrated and embarrassed. If you choose razors, we recommend that you invest in a quality kit piece. After use, always dry it off and store it properly.

Using Hair Removal Cream

Have you ever tried cream for hair removal? Most of us have experimented with it, at some point in our lives. It won’t leave you with a rash, unlike razors. However, similar to shaving, it will only remove the hair above the surface, resulting in rapid regrowth. Additionally, applying this cream can be tricky, and the 10-minute waiting time can be equally as tasking. Using cream is not an ideal method of natural hair removal, not only the strong chemicals will produce an unpleasant smell, your skin may end up super dry.

Waxing is the most expensive and most painful hair removal treatment you can go for, but according to so many people, they say it’s worth it. Wax pulls hair directly from the root, leaving you with flawless results, but this is also not a long lasting option. Waxing provides great results, but it’s a costly procedure which requires time and resilience, making it impractical for many of us.

You may have tried many treatments, including creams or laser hair removal, only to be disappointed when you discovered they are not permanent. Laser hair removal usually works only for about a year. The light beam does some damage the hair follicles, but not to the extent of electrolysis. It slows down the re-growth rate of the hair without actually stopping it. Which is why they always recommend a follow-up every year. With regard to other methods (waxing, tweezing, shaving, sugaring, threading, etc.), hair removal does not last nearly as long.

If you want to get rid of that fuzz along your upper lip, hairs on your chin, or sprouts between your brows, here’s what you need to do.
